At Lido Auslikon, Lake Pfäffikon becomes a family playground: kids swim out to the rafts, paddle across the lake on a SUP or race around the playground.

Two floating rafts bob just a few strokes from shore – exactly far enough to feel like a small adventure for kids. Once they reach them, it’s all about practicing headfirst dives and trying out new jumps. At the peaceful southern end of Lake Pfäffikon, surrounded by a nature reserve, families drift easily between the water, pebble beach and grassy lawn. Little ones splash in the shallow swimming area while older kids tackle the diving tree, clamber over the wooden triangle or set off across the lake on a rental SUP.
The lido spreads across a green peninsula, with plenty of space for an easygoing day by the water. When it’s time for a break from swimming, kids can move on to the large playground or table tennis tables while old trees cast welcome shade across the lawn. The lakeside kiosk serves classics such as burgers and fries alongside changing daily specials. Stay until evening and Lake Pfäffikon saves one of its best moments for last, as the sun sinks behind the lake and the water begins to glow gold.
