Pfäffikon

Pfäffikersee Lake

Traces of the Romans, an adventure farm, and three lidos – there is something for everyone around the Pfäffikersee.

  • Roman fort at Irgenhausen
  • Juckerhof adventure farm
  • Lidos in Auslikon, Pfäffikon, and Seegräben

The 9 kilometer (5.6 mile) circular trail around the Pfäffikersee lake is particularly popular with walkers and families. The tour is possible in all weathers, and the entire route is suitable for wheelchairs and baby’s buggies.

Attractions by the Water
The tall reed beds around the lake are home to countless moorland plants and bird species – photo enthusiasts will find impressive motifs here all year round. Those who want to cool off, swim, or splash around with their children can do so at three public bathing facilities: Badi Pfäffikon, Strandbad Auslikon, and, on the other side of the lake, Badi Seegräben.

Pick and Eat
At the Juckerhof adventure farm, visitors can tuck into apples and cherries straight from the tree, while the youngest guests have fun in the goat park, the rabbit enclosure, the natural playground, or on the castle made from straw bales.
