Family activities in and around Zurich
Zurich, Rapperswil, Winterthur, Schwyz, Glarus, Baden and Zug make up a wonderful Children’s Region, offering an enormous range of excursion destinations.
Where else can you find cities, forests, lakes and mountains all in the same area? Scavenger hunts and interactive museums border on zoos and adventure farms. The city park is located only a stone’s throw from the wildlife park, and you can hop on a boat to take you to the knight’s castle.
In the summer, you can enjoy one of the many swimming pools, while in the winter the snow-covered slopes beckon. When the temperatures rise, the kids can let off steam on the playgrounds. And if it’s raining, there are numerous arcades and sports facilities in the region for climbing, jumping or biking. Children are also more than welcome at concerts and in the theatres, in restaurants and hotels.

Platform and Association
Kinderregion is a joint platform of Zurich Tourism, Rapperswil Zürichsee Tourism, House of Winterthur, Schwyz Tourism, Visit Glarnerland, TourismusRegion Baden and Zug Tourism. The aim of the association is to promote a sustainable family tourism and to jointly communicate the family offers in the tourism and living area of Zurich.
