On the Anneli Route in Turbenthal, families step into the shoes of villagers from the Töss Valley and help a young mill girl navigate the challenges of daily life 150 years ago. Spanning four kilometers and eight interactive stations, the trail unfolds like a giant outdoor board game, with each stop revealing another chapter in the real-life story of Anneli Lüssi.

As children and adults solve challenges, make decisions and work together, they discover what life was like in a region once shaped by textile mills and close-knit village communities. Blending storytelling, play and local history, the Anneli Route transforms a walk through the Zurich Oberland into a journey through time.
