The next stop isn’t a scenic viewpoint – it’s the next chapter. Along the Elgg Story Trails, families scan QR codes at ten listening stations and follow a story in Swiss German one chapter at a time.
Choose between two routes. The Old Town Loop is a 1.3 km walk from Lindenplatz through the historic streets of Elgg to the playground beside Town Hall. Or take the longer 3.3 km walk from Neuelgg to Elgg through meadows and woodland. Each route features its own story, written exclusively for the Elgg Story Trails, where animals, plants and the surrounding landscape come to life through the voice of Swiss narrator Dominik Zeltner. A brand-new story is released twice a year, giving families plenty of reasons to come back for another walk.
