Skatepark Elgg
At Skatepark Elgg, families hit the ramps, rails and quarterpipes on skateboards, scooters and BMX bikes, practicing tricks and finding their own lines.

A few strong pushes and kids are rolling up the ramps, onto the quarterpipe and back down again. At Skatepark Elgg, children and teens take over the concrete on skateboards, scooters, inline skates and BMX bikes, each at their own pace. Two quarterpipes of different heights and elements like rails, ramps, an A-frame and a spine can all be linked into different lines. Beginners have plenty of room to get started while more experienced riders can keep working on new tricks and combinations.
The 424-m² park is part of the “Im See” sports park and was developed together with local youth and pro skater Simon Stricker. Its location right next to the soccer fields works especially well for families: while one child is at practice, another can get in a few runs. Parents can take a seat beside the skatepark and watch from the sidelines.
Tip: Didn’t bring your own gear? Families can use the BoxUp station right by the skatepark to borrow sports and play equipment via the app.
