Naturfründehuus Mettmen

The Kies-Mettmen cable car brings families, hikers, and climbers to the idyllic Mettmenalp, from where they arrive at the “Naturfründehuus” after a 15-minute walk. The mountain inn has been existing for more than 90 years and has cozy multi-bed rooms, two dormitories, and two lavatories. Every evening the restaurant at the inn serves a delicious three-course meal for meat lovers and vegetarians.

In clear weather, the guests enjoy the large terrace with a great view over the mountain peaks. And when it gets frisky, the beautiful living room is an inviting place to linger and read a book.
The region offers numerous activities and fun outdoor experiences for families as well as hiking trails with different levels of difficulty.
