A hilltop castle, striking modern art and plenty of brain-teasing puzzles – Vaduz turns into one giant adventure on the detective trail. This family-friendly treasure hunt winds about 4 km through the heart of Liechtenstein’s capital, passing landmarks like Vaduz Castle, the parliament building, Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein, the Liechtenstein TreasureChamber and more. Instead of simply sightseeing, families solve clever riddles, uncover clues and discover the country’s history and culture along the way. Depending on how many breaks are taken, the adventure can take between 2.5 and 4.5 hours. Crack the final code, unlock the treasure chest and be rewarded with a small instant prize.
Good to know: Play using the detective trail app on your smartphone or with a printed treasure map available at the Liechtenstein Center. Along the route, stop for a bite to eat or a drink at Balu Bakery & Pastry Shop, Burg Brasserie or Restaurant Residence.
