The impressive mountain landscapes of the Tectonic Arena Sardona have already amazed people in the past. How the geological phenomena of this UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site caused discussions among researchers is told in the family-friendly story “The magic line” on the audio trail from Elm to Schwanden.
The trail starts in the village center of Elm and leads along the Suvorov trail in five stages to Schwanden train station (hiking trail no. 55, Via Suvorov). If the 15 kilometers or 4.5 hours of hiking are too far for you, you can also shorten the route and take the bus for part of the way. Important: Don’t forget your smartphone, because the audio episodes will be played on it via QR code.
