Mountain Restaurant Ämpächli

The modern and cozy mountain restaurant Ämpächli is located directly next to the mountain station of the gondola lift in Elm. Its large sun terrace is therefore perfect for excursionists and families to fortify themselves before or after a hike in Europe’s oldest game reserve, the Freiberg Kärpf. The “Giant’s Forest” Adventure Trail for families also starts here and invites you to adventure.

And while later, the adults finish their meal in peace with a wonderful panoramic view, their offspring can romp around in the children’s paradise: They can let off steam on the giant trampoline, driving pedal cars or climbing. A giant swing, a tree house with a slide, and a petting zoo also await. And if dark clouds suddenly gather, the fun simply continues in the indoor playground or the bowling alley.
