Bike Trail Uetliberg

The sun is shining and everybody is ready for some exercise with an element of fun: It’s the ideal moment for a day’s outing on the bike, and what better destination is there than Zurich’s local mountain.

The tour starts in Uitikon Waldegg. The well-marked bike trail leads cyclists big and small through the center of the village in the direction of Türlersee lake. Passing meadows, fields and forests, the little athletes suddenly arrive on the other side of the Uetliberg, where Felsenegg is a great place to take a break – not only for its breathtaking view, but also its family-friendly restaurant with playground and large outdoor space. After the break, the tour continues along the country road to Uetliberg. And to finish in all glory – a rapid descent brings the cyclists back to the start.
