A five-minute aerial railway journey takes nature lovers from Adliswil to Felsenegg, a vantage point over the Albis chain. At over 2,624 ft (800m) altitude, here you enjoy breathtaking views over Lake Zurich and the distant mountains. Countless foot and hiking paths along with an excursion restaurant leave everyday hectic far behind you. The valley station is reached in just 10 minutes on foot from the Adliswil railway station.
A “Planet Trail” leads from Uetliberg to Felsenegg, which reflects the distances in the solar system. Every meter of the path corresponds to a distance of 1 million kilometers. The fascinating 2-hour hike takes you from the sun past the eight planets as far as the dwarf planet Pluto.
