In Seewen in the valley of Schwyz, ice sports are very popular in winter. People not only cheer eagerly when the Seewen Ice Hockey Club plays in the large modern stadium, which can accommodate around 1,000 ice hockey fans. In the afternoons, young and old alike can practice ice skating on the very same surface.
Skates, helmets and hockey sticks can be rented on site. For a break, stop at one of the two bars for a drink or have a bite to eat at Restaurant Zingel which comfortably seats 80. From the restaurant, you can overlook the entire ice rink.
