The sunny hillside of the Elm vacation region invites its guests to an exciting sledge run. The cable car takes you up to the Walser village of Weissenberge, which is inhabited all year round, before you take your sled to glide through the magnificent nature, along spectacular rock faces and icefalls down to the village of Matt. The ride takes about 15 minutes and thanks to its even gradient, it is known to sporty riders, too.
Sleds can be rented for half or the whole day at the valley station. The “Family Flizzers” are particularly fun – they have enough space for two people and are especially comfortable and easy to steer thanks to the cloth seat cover.
