Step back millions of years on Malbun’s Geology Trail, where the mountains double as an open-air museum. Instead of dry explanations, 16 stops bring the landscape to life, revealing how glaciers, caves, moraines and dramatic rock formations shaped the Alps.

This is a trail that invites curiosity. Why are some rocks smooth and rounded while others are jagged? How does a cave form? Did the Ice Age really end? Along the way, the answers appear in streambeds, cliff faces and unexpected corners of the landscape. What starts as a mountain hike soon becomes a journey through Earth’s history, changing the way you see the world around you. By the end, even the rocks seem to have stories to tell.
