Tucked away at the end of the Sernftal valley, the pretty mountain village of Elm (977 m above sea level) is the embodiment of a winter fairytale. Near the picturesque centre, gondolas provide access to the surrounding mountains.

40 kilometres of pistes offer varied skiing fun for all ages and abilities. Sun terraces, cosy huts and mountain restaurants offer ample opportunities for breaks in between the runs. Those who want to get away from it all, can choose from a large selection of winter hikes and snowshoe trails as well as freeride and touring routes. Cross-country skiing, curling, ice fishing and sledging are also on offer and you can spend bad-weather days in the bouldering hall, the indoor swimming pool or one of the museums.
