In the Atzmännig region you find two marked snowshoe trails that are individually accessible.
The routes of 3.5 km (just over 2 miles) and 7km (4.2 miles) are suitable for beginners. At the base station in Atzmännig you can rent snowshoes and then take the chair lift up to almost 1,200 meters (3,937 feet) above sea level. Here is the starting point for snowshoe tours, and on both tours you have the chance to enjoy a break in one of the mountain restaurants. You get back to the base station after 1.5 to 2 hours on the shorter tour and after 3 to 4 hours on the longer one.
On certain evenings, guided snowshoe hikes followed by a fondue party are offered.
