Zurich Community Centers (ZGZ)

Over the last few years and thanks to the city’s considerable efforts, Zurich’s community centers have become an increasingly important part of and for Zurich. The lively, colorful and diverse GZs reflect Zurich’s cosmopolitan and hospitable character.

Especially parents with children appreciate this offer: 17 community centers offer a wide range of opportunities to spend time with the children and in the community, from parent counseling and childcare to petting zoos, exciting playgrounds, urban gardens and various events.

As different as the city’s districts are, so different are the GZs and what they have to offer. Their commonality: every of the 17 community centers offer space, opportunities and activities for people from all walks of life, a place where people can meet, talk and have a good time.
