Since 1996, the Migros Museum of Contemporary Art has supported the production, exhibition and collection of international contemporary art. It features masterpieces by Alberto Giacometti, Picasso, Monet and Chagall as well as other renowned artists.

The museum sees itself as dynamic location for visitors of all ages. To ensure that even the youngest visitors have fun and are involved in the exhibition, the Migros Museum of Contemporary Art puts together a special magazine for each exhibition – “Kunstdetektive” is a fun booklet full of riddles. At the ticket desk, children can go and get the backpack that holds the booklet and necessary art detective equipment to solve the riddles.

During their investigative tour through the museum, the little detectives analyze material samples, create their own drawings or write their own crime stories. At the end, a small prize is waiting at the ticket desk for those who found the right answers!
