The Everest is in Winterthur – and it stands 17 meters tall. We are, of course, not referring to the famous mountain, but to a climbing element in the Rope Park Winterthur. Centrally located on the Zeughauswiese, the Rope Park consists of 26 climbing elements on which daring climbers from 8 years of age can try their hand (under adult supervision). Younger climbers from the age of 4 can have fun in the “Pfüdipark” kiddie areal (also under adult supervision).
In addition to the wooden structures, suspension bridges and rope elements to be climbed, a free fall awaits the adventurers. The park is managed and supervised by a well-trained team, but please note: climbing cannot be done alone. After and before scaling up the structures, visitors can relax in the surrounding park; there are even fireplaces for barbecuing and a kiosk selling refreshments.
