Historic Audio Walk

The audio walk, which has been specially compiled for young explorers, leads through the old town of Winterthur and 800 years of the city’s history. At seven stations, short audio plays bring past times to life. The children of today learn how the children of that time lived. “Winthi” and “Thuri”, the two lions of the city coat of arms, take over and add important historical facts as well as exciting background information to the stories. The entertaining city tour is accompanied with music, composed for this occasion.

The audio walk takes approximately two hours. However, you can also visit only individual locations, as each story can be individually told. Take your smartphone or tablet with headphones, scan the QR code and the exciting journey through time can start.
