<p>Regensberg Castle can be found in the municipality of the same name, situated to the north-west of Zurich. It lies in a somewhat elevated location on the eastern foothills of the Lägern ridge, which links the north of Zurich with Baden.</p> <p>Regensberg Castle has characterized the region since the 13th century. The castle and the small town built around it – both of which have been extremely well preserved – were once the ancestral seat of the House of Regensberg.</p> <p>Nowadays, the castle belongs to the Regensberg Castle Foundation. The round tower is still open to the public and offers a spectacular panoramic view of the surrounding region. In addition, information panels inside the tower relate the history of the small country town of Regensberg.</p>
