Lama Trekking Seebodenalp

Cusco, Eragon or Piedro are the names of the unusual companions that make this hike on the Rigi something very special: Because when llamas trot along through the Swiss mountains, walking is only half as hard and the occasional caress motivate both large four-legged friends and small two-legged hikers.

The llama trekking is offered by the Rutz-Hediger family on Seebodenalp, from where one of the tours suitable for children leads to the Ruodisegg alpine inn. The approx. 1¾-hour trail also passes a barbecue and picnic area – of course. And if you can’t get enough of the llamas, you can book not only the outward but also the return trip and enjoy the mountain air and the animal company for about 3 hours.
