Young and old alike enjoy casual ice skating or the trendy sport of curling at the Lachen ice rink, located right on Lake Zurich.

And if it happens to be too cold, or if the active skaters need a breather, there’s a cozy ice rink café with seating right at the edge of the rink. Here, punch is available for children, mulled wine for adults, and – perfect for the season – fondue and raclette.

Curling is available on reserved lanes that can be booked by the hour. Hockey is played on the ice rink exclusively with soft pucks. In addition to open skating, there are ice-skating lessons for children and adults, children’s birthday parties on and off the ice, as well as ice time slots for school classes and groups. Convenient for regulars: The season pass is also valid at the ice rinks in Einsiedeln, Wädenswil, Sargans, and Uetikon.
