Almost a thousand years ago, the ancestral castle of the Knights of Hünenberg stood on the wooded hill overlooking the municipality of Hünenberg. What did it look like back then? And what was life like in the 12th century? Among the castle ruins, young explorers can step into the world of knights, noble families, and castle life while dreaming up heroic adventures of their own.
Afterwards, the adjacent, large playground “Burg” brings families back to the 21st century. Here, children can burn off energy, cool off in the brooks or water fountain and gather in the shady picnic area for a knightly feast around the barbecue.
