Climb, ride, balance and play – at Erlenmoos Recreation Park in Wollerau, staying active comes naturally. Across the spacious grounds between Lake Zurich and the surrounding hills, families can explore an adventure play area, race around the pump track, tackle the bike and skate parks and make the most of a variety of sports fields. Younger children climb and slide in the play area, while older kids perfect new tricks on wheels or jump into a game of beach volleyball or soccer. Along the way, the “Gripspfad” challenges young curious minds with 13 stations that combine balance and climbing elements with fun skill-based tasks.
Rather than relying on flashy attractions, Erlenmoos encourages movement, exploration and shared experiences. That makes it easy for every family member to find their own favorite activity while spending the day together. When appetites finally catch up with all that action, the restaurant offers a welcome break. Few kids stay seated for long, though – there’s simply too much left to do.
