The tour starts in Turbenthal and follows the river Töss downstream. The upper Töss valley with its green banks and the surrounding nature is a popular destination for excursions. The asphalted country lanes far from the road are ideal for an excursion by bike – even with the youngest children. At several locations, there are fireplaces for barbecuing and swimming.
Further downstream bike fans cycle through the narrow Leisental, where you can admire the local recreation area Eschenberg with its game park on one side and Kyburg Castle on the other.
The closer you get to Winterthur, the more you see the former factory buildings and industrial plants until you finally reach the railway station.
