Inside, the hostel offers 92 beds, including two newly added family rooms, accessible design throughout and a free art exhibition that brightens the exterior walls and stairwells. Mornings start with a hearty buffet, snacks are available 24/7 at the self-service kiosk, lunch boxes can be pre-ordered and dinner is served by reservation in the dining hall.
Nestled in a quiet spot near Schutzengel train station, the hostel is also a perfect launchpad for day trips up to Zugerberg or to the otherworldly Höllgrotten caves in nearby Baar.
