<p>Much to the delight of nature lovers, the once extinct beaver has re-established itself in Switzerland.</p> <p>On the 4 km (2.5 mile) long Beaver Trail near Flaach, young explorers can find many traces of the rodents; gnaw marks on trees or so-called beaver slides bear witness to the presence of these industrious creatures.</p> <p>Ten information panels and interactive elements along the trail between the landing stages of Tössegg and Rüdlingen also provide a fascinating insight into the life and habitat of the beaver.</p>
