Forest Adventure Trail

The discovery trail invites kids to experience nature with all their senses. 12 fun stops give them an exciting insight into the Sihlwald biotope. Along the trail, the children count the age rings on a tree stump, measure the height of a standing tree and explore the natural soundscapes. A special experience is the barefoot trail, where the little ones feel the forest floor with their eyes closed and accompanied by adults. Or how about a fun broad jump competition? Who jumps further, the forest animals or the humans? On a footbridge, explorers big and small walk through the fairytale-like moor forest and find out how a tree drinks.

The forest adventure trail is free and open throughout the year, 2 kilometers long and easily feasible in 2 hours. The trail ends at the wilderness playground on the Visitor Center grounds of the Wildnispark Zürich in Sihlwald.
