Tobogganing on the Bachtel

Route
The start of this toboggan run is near the Bachtel Kulm restaurant, around a one-hour walk from Wernetshausen. The first section of the route mainly passes through woodland and is very steep at the start, which means that it is only recommended for experienced tobogganers. The second section down to Wernetshausen is gentler and also suitable for children.

Toboggan Hire
Toboggan hire is not available locally, so visitors are requested to bring their own toboggan or bob with them.

Catering Facilities Nearby
Refreshments are available for hungry tobogganers at the Bachtel Kulm restaurant and the Hasenstrick, which is not directly on the tobogganing slope.

Special Remarks
The start can only be reached on foot, but the walk is subsequently rewarded with a fast and picturesque toboggan run.
