Thurauen Adventure Trail

The former Eisvogel experience trail, which was starting to show its age, has been completely transformed into Thurauen’s new adventure trail and educational nature trail. The 2.6-kilometer path gives children and adults the chance to experience the fascinating floodplain landscape with all the senses. Visitors can hop, climb, and balance along the flat terrain, passing 14 interactive stations that introduce the area’s diverse flora and fauna in a fun and playful way. Several campfire spots along the path invite barbecues, snacks, and refreshment breaks.

The trail starts and finishes next to the Parkplatz Ellikerbrücke parking lot in Flaach. The adventure trail is also accessible to strollers. The entire route with 14 stations takes approximately 2.5 hours to complete. Alternatively, a shorter route is available, which is 2 km long and passes 11 stations.
