Story Trail Schwyz

Stories not only enrich life. They can also make hiking more entertaining for children. After all, who doesn’t enjoy being out and about in interesting company?

On the “QR-Gschichtli-Weg Schwyz” circular trail, children between the ages of 3 and 10 embark on an exciting audio journey. The stories, which change four times a year, tell of the region, its customs, legends and nature, all in Swiss German. At a total of 10 stations, they are revealed piece by piece via a QR code, conjuring up colorful images in the children’s minds and motivating them to keep walking.

There are further treats along the way: a playground and benches invite you to linger, a farm store offers refreshments and a restaurant serves delicious lunches or snacks.
