A piece of the Wild West on the seemingly endless plains of Switzerland’s largest high moorland – in the hamlet of Biberegg, Western fans saddle their horses, learn to ride Western style, board historic horse-drawn carriages and sleep in a tipi.
In 1998, family Grab converted their existing “Besenbeiz” into the Beaver Creek Ranch restaurant. Today, a tipi, sleeping on straw, simple shared rooms, an event tent and a saloon bar complete the western setting. The restaurant serves country specialties made from local produce. Children have fun in the large adventure playground around the house, ride a model train or slide directly into the petting zoo. On summer evenings, a campfire and live country music round off the experience, before visitors spend the night in a tipi. Sleeping in the comfortable tipi tent made of wood and fabric is pure adventure for young and old.
