Sattel-Hochstuckli in Summer

Just a short drive from Zurich, the pre-Alpine region of Sattel-Hochstuckli offers plenty of variety for nature lovers.

  • World’s first revolving aerial cable car
  • 374m long pedestrian suspension bridge “Skywalk”
  • Rondo’s children’s world
  • Various circular hiking trails
  • Mountain inns and fireplaces
  • Scooter Trekking
  • Theme and adventure trail “Geissä Wäg”

The pre-Alpine region of Sattel-Hochstuckli lies between the deep-blue Lake Zurich and the famous Lake Lucerne. Surrounded by rolling green hills and nestling in the foothills of the Alps, this region is an attractive destination for hikers, walkers and all those looking for peace and quiet. From the small village of Sattel, a revolving gondola whisks guests up to the Mostelberg summit station. During this 8-minute trip, they can delight in the magnificent view while the gondola slowly rotates on its own axis.

At the top, a fabulous hiking paradise opens up, from where mountain lovers can embark on hikes of all levels of difficulty. Particularly popular is the Skywalk suspension bridge and the summer toboggan run, on which speed lovers can race down the mountainside through the lush meadows.
