Museum Haus Konstruktiv

With child-friendly activities, the museum in the heart of Zurich makes concrete art accessible also to its youngest visitors. In the "SonntagsAtelier", families playfully engage with the current exhibitions.

Through a constantly changing program, Haus Konstruktiv transports its visitors into new worlds. The exhibitions offer an introduction to constructivist, concrete and conceptual art, movements that were influenced by famous Zurich artists. At the same time, they trace the connection between these movements and contemporary art in an entertaining manner.

With their geometric forms and clear lines, the works are especially captivating for children. They inspire them to enjoy the exhibitions from a playful and light-hearted perspective. At the “SonntagsAtelier” (Sunday Studio), an open drop-in program, children aged three and up discover the exhibition themes together with their accompanying adults, guided by small games and creative prompts. Through crafting, painting and drawing, they can let their imaginations run wild and reinterpret what they have seen in their own way.
