Just a few tram stops from downtown Zurich, tucked away from the city’s busiest areas, you’ll find the one-of-a-kind minigolf course at Hardgutbrache. Families can play their way around 12 imaginative holes, each designed and built by local collectives, school classes and dedicated individuals. Every hole has its own personality, offering creative surprises that make each round a little different.

The laid-back, community spirit extends beyond the course itself. There’s no need to book ahead and you’re welcome to bring your own drinks and picnic. If you’d rather buy refreshments on site, a small pop-up bar is open in good weather. Clubs and balls are stored in the box next to the red shipping container, ready for anyone who wants to play.

Minigolf Hard is a free public space, made possible by donations and the dedication of countless volunteers. In the heart of Zurich, it has become a welcoming place where families and local residents come together.
