In 1806, a landslide between Lake Zug and Lake Lauerz created a unique natural landscape of beauty, which is now popular with animal and nature lovers.
Today, visitors discover on 104 acres of land bears, wolves, lynxes, deer, birds of prey and other animals up close at any time of year. The scientifically managed wildlife park offers numerous exciting activities for families: From guided tours and workshops, where rare animal species are introduced, to the pet farm, where especially the goats look forward to lots of cuddles from their little visitors.
In the “Goldau Landslide” adventure hall, families experience the happening in real time with a simulator and gain an in-depth insight into Switzerland’s biggest natural disaster. When active play becomes the name of the game, the kids go on one of the numerous playgrounds or visit the indoor playground “Zauberwald”. After an exciting day full of discoveries, families enjoy a delicious meal or snack in one of the many dining options and picnic spots.
