Cross-Country Skiing in Bolzberg-Trachslau

Ski Area
The Trachslau cross-country ski trail is a circuit for connoisseurs. It leads past the Benedictine convent of Au, continues over meadows and fields to the small village of Trachslau, and in the final third returns to the monastery village.

Ski Trails
Besides the 10 kilometer (6.2 mile) circular trail, there is a shorter variant of the route – the Bolzli Adventure Trail. Bolzi the Bunny, a keen cross-country skier, accompanies children on the signposts along the 2 kilometer (1.2 mile) trail from Grotzenmühle to Au convent and back.

Special Remarks
A bus runs from Einsiedeln train station to the start and finish areas. At the beginning of the track at Grotzenmühle, skiers can purchase a day pass, hire equipment, or book cross-country skiing courses.
