The hike takes you from the deep Limmat-Klus to the four viewpoints: Schartenfels, Geissberg, Martinsburg and Stein Castle. There are some 1,300 steps you must climb, but the effort is worth it because the view is quite exceptional, offering even local residents a new perspective of their city.
There are numerous fire pits along the way where you can have a lovely picnic. The «Schweizer Familie» fire pit at Martinsberg Chänzeli is especially popular.
