The best coffee? It is served with a smile; in a place where everyone is welcome. Where people meet as equals and enjoy being together, regardless of age and origin. In the spirit of the mission “mitenand und fürenand” (together and for each other), the aim was to create a meeting place for all generations that is participative and supportive and helps fight the loneliness that an increasing number of people experience in later life.

Today, the success speaks for itself. The café and bistro is a popular “hub” for the community and beyond. People meet for a chat, coffee or lunch. Children have fun on the play island set up especially for them or play on the large square in front of the house, where a play box is hidden. Every detail has been thought of. There is also a programme of activities to suit all ages.
