Bike Trail Technopark Kyburg

It has long been no secret that Winterthur with its numerous bike trails is a popular destination for cyclists of all ages. The tour with a steep ascent to Kyburg Castle starts in Winterthur – more precisely, at Technopark.

The climb up to the medieval castle is a tough one, but well worth it: for almost 1000 years the castle has been enthroned above the river Töss. Today, visitors young and old can find out how stewards once lived. From the cellar to the attic, they see what guests from thence ate, and what knights wore under their heavy armor.

After the visit to the castle, another highlight awaits the cyclists: the rapid downhill ride to the river Töss and then back to the starting point.
