The route Rapperswil Baden is best done in two stages.
The first stage leads along the “Goldküste” Gold Coast from Rapperswil to Zurich past magnificent country estates and villas. Here and there lakeside parks and lidos invite you to take a refreshing swim in the lake Zurich. As this leg leads partly through busy urban areas, we recommend that you prepare your children for it.
The second stage leads along the river Limmat out of the city of Zurich and meanders westwards through meadows and forests, past the Fahr Monastery to the spa town of Baden.
