Toes in the sand, head in the sun and the sound of the waves in your ears – if it weren’t for the magnificent mountain panorama, you’d be forgiven for thinking you were by the sea.

Just a short walk from downtown Zug, families will find everything they need for a great day on the water at this cozy lido. Lawn areas are perfect for sunbathing and somersaults. While the little ones splash around in the paddling pool, the older kids can enjoy themselves in the lake, dive from various platforms or build sand castles on the beach. Various sports equipment can be rented on site.

The town gathers for fine dining at the restaurant and the lido’s popular Sunday brunch à discrétion. Healthy bowls, fresh wood-fired pizza and delicious mezze are served alongside classic dishes.  In the evening, with a bit of luck, you can watch the legendary sunset and round off the day in the open-air bar and lounge.
