Ant Amelia accompanies children and their parents on her favorite route through the forest above Rickenbach. Along the path, she explains how an ant colony is formed and what life is like in an anthill. She also tells of the dangers a little ant faces outside in nature. What do ants eat? Can they swim? There is much to discover.
The “Ameisiwäg” is approximately two kilometers long. It starts at Möbel Sutter AG below the bus stop Stalden (final stop bus 503) and ends in the Syti forest above the bus stop Gartenlaubenstrasse. Walking slightly downhill, Amelia and her guests pass seven adventure stations before arriving at a barbecue area in the forest. There, anyone who wants to can climb around in an anthill made of logs, while lunch or a snack sizzles on the fireplace.
