Tighten your goggles, adjust your swimsuit and get ready for a day of family fun. At Alpamare in Pfäffikon, 12 water slides with a combined length of more than two kilometers promise a different adventure every time. Race family and friends on the “Jungle Run,” where every split second counts, soar up the giant halfpipe on “Balla Balla” or spin through the massive funnel of the “Tornado.” Every twist and turn ends with a splash and plenty of laughter.

But Alpamare is about much more than water slides. In the “Cinemare” wave pool, rolling waves sweep through a mysterious jungle where hidden temples emerge from the mist, towering waterfalls crash down and a giant snake stirs among ancient ruins. Just a few steps away, children up to around six years old have a water playground of their own, with water cannons, tipping buckets, waterfalls, interactive splash features and mini slides.

After all that excitement, it’s time to slow the pace. The 32°C “Alpa Therme” offers bubbling loungers, massage jets and underwater music, while the 36°C saltwater pool lets bathers aged 16 and over float almost weightlessly. Then drift along the 100-meter “Rio Mare” lazy river, where the gentle current carries you through the tropical surroundings. On warm days, relax on the lawn overlooking Lake Zurich before enjoying a meal at the “Rio Restaurant” with beautiful lake views.
