From the east to the west, right through the middle: The Aare Linth interregional train takes young and old adventure seekers from Chur, the capital of Graubünden with its rich traditions, towards the west. Ride past the Linth plain and the clear Lake Walen – perfect for cooling off – and on to Lake Zurich with its beautiful views. In Switzerland’s “little big metropolis” Zurich you will find culinary highlights, chic stores and lots of culture.

Plenty of culture is also waiting in the literary town of Olten. The bronze-colored train continues through the rolling hills of the Mittelland to Bern, Switzerland’s capital, with its arcades, outdoor swimming venues and museums. And the best thing about this connection: the IR Aare Linth train runs every hour. So go ahead if you want to get off and go exploring – you can simply continue your journey with the next one. The same is true for the return trip, of course.
