Stoos Hüttä

What a way to start the day! The sun shines through the panoramic windows and gives us a view of the mountains, the meadows and the village of Stoos below us. We sit and enjoy a cup of coffee while delicious egg dishes, cheese, jam and fresh bread await us at the breakfast buffet. The children help themselves to books and games from the toy box and we grapple with the most difficult question of the day: should we have a leisurely coffee on the sun terrace while the children explore the small playground, or should we put on our hiking boots straight away?

In summer, the trails start right in front of the house; in winter, the Sternegg ski lift is just a stone’s throw away. After an eventful day, guests spend the night in one of the 10 rooms clad in regional wood. Three to six beds offer space for 41 people. In the evening, it’s worth taking another look outside: the view of the starry sky is equally fantastic.
