Ringo the penguin and his friends have designed six fun expeditions by public transport for adventurous children. Little ones can immerse themselves in Ringo’s world for an exciting exploration tour lasting three to six hours.
Every expedition has its own Ringo booklet with illustrated stories, descriptions of the route and interesting facts about the vehicles on the journey. And adventures like these wouldn’t be complete without some fun puzzles – it’s important to pay attention along the way and keep an eye out for letter clues, as those who find the right answer word will be rewarded with a Ringo Bingo collecting game.
Information on the different routes can be found below.

Ringo excursion to the Planet Trail
Aim high – and higher still! The Felsenegg cable car carries Ringo’s friends up into the galaxy between Felsenegg and Uetliberg, where they can get right up close to the sun, moon and stars.

Ringo excursion through the Küsnacht ravine
A wild trip at the gates of the city of Zurich: the Forchbahn railway takes little adventurers to Forch, where a ravine with wild birds and a legendary boulder awaits.

Ringo excursion through Zurich
The excursion starts at the main station, where inquisitive sparrows and gulls show visitors the way. There’s plenty to discover along the route until the tour gang finally makes its way to the rhino statue.

Ringo excursion on Lake Greifen
A boat takes visitors across Lake Greifen to Maur, where Ringo wants to visit the noisiest, smelliest birds on the banks of the Silberweide Nature Station.

Ringo excursion to Rapperswil
Ringo’s search for his dream home takes him and his friends to Pfäffikon (SZ) by suburban train, to the island of Ufenau by boat, and finally to Rapperswil.

Ringo excursion to the Rhine Falls
This huge waterfall is also waiting to be discovered: on the way along the Rhine, Ringo takes every opportunity to jump into the water – even right by the powerful Rhine Falls.
