Pumptrack Reitplatz

Hit the track, then drift down the river – Switzerland's first pumptrack is idyllically located in a varied recreation area on the river Töss.

Exercise, play and relax – around ten minutes from Winterthur city center, the Allmend, once used by the military, is now a diverse sports and recreation area. Local soccer club Töss trains regularly at Reitplatz. Beach soccer and beach volleyball are also played on the sports field.

Right next door is Switzerland’s first pump track. Over a length of 280 meters, the hills, hollows and bends challenge riders of all levels and provide plenty of fun at the same time. The track is floodlit in the evening and there is even a special track for small children to hone their skills on balancing bikes.

After an active morning, you can cool off in the river Töss or relax at one of the barbecue areas, on the playground or in the seasonal restaurant. You can easily spend a whole day here.
